A journey beyond ourselves
Why it’s never been
more important to travel
In today’s world, it has never been more important to travel, to experience, and connect with other cultures. Meeting diversity with openness and curiosity fosters the inclusiveness and understanding that form the foundation for coexistence and peaceful living.
I founded 80days in 2009 with a clear ambition: to disrupt and challenge convention in a deeply traditional industry. With 80days I wanted to gather the best people within my field to inspire, guide, and – through expertise and candid dialogue – push boundaries. I wanted 80days to do more than plan trips. I wanted us to guide our travelers to dream bigger and fly higher, to go beyond the expected, and to harness what I believe is our most valuable resource – our time.
CAMILLA LEVIN, FOUNDER & VISIONARY

Now, more than ever, we should take the opportunity to explore the world. Walking unpaved roads, tasting flavors we can’t pronounce, and communicating with gestures and laughter can open our minds unexpectedly. Travel isn’t just about seeing new places; it’s about gaining perspective, understanding others, and finding common ground. At a time when division feels prevalent, these small moments of connection can help us navigate the complexities of the world with greater empathy and understanding.

“When we stop traveling and close ourselves off, the world stops evolving.”
Lifting others as we rise
At 80days, I believe that success comes with a responsibility to help. When we are in a position to make a difference, we must act. For me, philanthropy is building bridges between people, communities, and organizations, creating meaningful connections that inspire change.
As the founder of 80days, my commitment to giving back shapes our philosophy. Most of our projects are in Africa, where we focus on initiatives like Uthando, a cause that is very close to my heart and which we have proudly supported for many years. Uthando embodies my values: empowering local communities through compassion, presence, and meaningful action. It represents everything I believe in when it comes to making a difference.

Beyond Africa, we support only a few uniquely selected projects in Denmark. We help smaller projects driven by passionate individuals whose efforts we find meaningful and where we believe our contribution can truly make a difference. These are projects where we can help lift and amplify the impact of their vision.
Time, presence, and responsibility are at the core of my approach to giving back. I deeply respect those dedicated to improving the world and strive to lend my support whenever possible.
For me, giving back isn’t just about providing resources; it’s about fostering understanding, compassion, and a shared purpose to rise together.
